Wedding Reception
The reception is a memorable celebration in which family, friends, and you can rejoice in the tradition of marriage. It will be one of the greatest events in your life. We make the success of your reception our responsibility. We help you design your wedding your way, not ours. We do much more than just play music......take a look at what DJ Celebrations offers.
An average wedding costs thousands of dollars. Most guests don't remember how lovely the flowers were or how the food tasted, but they do remember if they had a good time. A professional, experienced DJ/MC can help ensure that your wedding is fun, elegant and your guests will stay for the duration of your reception to celebrate your new life together.
Once the cocktail hour has ended, DJ Celebrations will make sure the parted gets started with great music. The music will be the kind that immediately gets the guests in a good mood .
Introduction of the Wedding party
At the reception, we introduce the bridal party onto the dance floor. All of the attendants and special guests will enjoy being honored and formally introduced. This can be done two by two or one at a time. Special comments about the bridal party can be included during the introductions.
DJ Celebrations knows how to vary the songs and tunes during dinner so dancers and diners will be appropriately pleased. Standards are an excellent choice during the dinner.
At the reception, one of the most important moments is the bride and groom's first dance. Usually after your introduction to the guests, you and your new spouse will share this special dance alone. Your choice of music should be one that has a special meaning for the both of you.
For the bride and the father of bride, this dance is a special event during the reception. This is the point in the reception when a father bids a kind farewell to his daughter.
This is a delicate moment for the bride and important event for the Mama of the Groom. Mama will dance with her son, proud, happy and filled with joy.
This is always a surprise at every wedding. Planning is the key to make this moment a memorable one. The Bride and the Groom typically choose fun and festive music at this point in the reception.
Choosing the right music for the bouquet & garter event can make this part of the reception fun. It is important this is done with class.
The money dance, dollar dance, or honeymoon dance is an event at some wedding receptions in various cultures. During a money dance, male guests pay to dance briefly with the bride, and sometimes female guests pay to dance with the groom.
Choosing a last dance song is a perfect way to end a memorable day. Some venues have restrictions on how late your reception can last. If your wedding reception is at a private residence you should consider the surrounding neighbors. Even if this is not the case with your wedding it is always a good idea to decide on a best time to call it a night using a memorable song.
